Sometimes is not a question of when you quit your 9 to 5 day job, it’s a question of are you ready to quit or when are you going to quit to start the better life and lifestyle you deserve?
You see, many people slave themselves to the 9 to 5 day job or slave themselves to an employer for the fact that it is a guaranteed paycheck every week or every other week; however, is it really guaranteed?
How much security do you have in your day job?
What guarantee do you have that you will receive your next paycheck?
What guarantee do you have that you will still have your 9 – 5 day job come tomorrow?
Fact is… There is no job security where they say there is, there is absolutely no guarantee you will receive your next paycheck, and there is absolutely no guarantee you will still have a job come tomorrow.
How do I know this?
Simply answered, at 12 years old I worked for a hardware store after school and on Saturdays assembling lawnmowers and lawnmower tractors. My job was to put them outside for customers to see after assembly. One Saturday morning just before opening, I was taking the lawnmowers out front and noticed a lot of sad faces walking away from the Calbeck’s grocery store next door and then I witnessed why they were walking away with sad faces.
The reason why is because the people walking away from the front door of Calbeck’s were staff of Calbeck’s who needed an income to support their families but had to walk away that day as they came to work only to find a sign in the window that basically said, “Sorry about your luck, we are closed for good and you’ll have to find another job.”
Moving ahead 10 years from being 12 years old, I worked for a company called RDS Data. I worked on their help desk to supporting Tim Horton’s coffee shops… During my 22nd year in life, this happened to me too. I went into work one morning along with 100 plus other staff members to a sign on a closed door that basically said, “Sorry about your luck, we are closed for good and you’ll have to find another job.”
How would you like this to happen to you?
What would you do if this happened to you?
At what point did you or will you quit your day job before this happens and actually start your rewards in life as your own entrepreneur just like I did the day I walked away from that closed “Sorry About Your Luck” sign taped on the RDS Data door at 22 years old?
Today, you can prepare to quit your day job…
